COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> OF•H. <br /> BILL NO. 161 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE COUNTY OF HAWAII HAMAKUA COMMUNITY <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to adopt the Hamakua <br /> Community Development Plan (attached hereto as Exhibit A) pursuant to the County of Hawaii <br /> General Plan, Section 15.1 (February 2005 as amended). <br /> SECTION 2. Adoption. Chapter 16, Section 16-2, Hawaii County Code 1983 <br /> (2016 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 16-2. Adoption of community development plans. <br /> The community development plans listed below are adopted and incorporated by <br /> reference. A copy of the plans and amendments shall be available for public inspection at the <br /> pg department. <br /> de artment. <br /> HAMAKUA. The document identified as "Hamakua Community Development Plan" is <br /> adopted by reference, subject to later amendments by ordinance, and may be cited as the <br /> "Hamakua CDP." The planning area for the Hamakua CDP encompasses the Judicial District of <br /> Hamakua,North Hilo, and a portion of the South Hilo District in the County of Hawai`i. <br /> KAT. The document identified as "Ka`u Community Development Plan" is adopted by <br /> reference, subject to later amendments by ordinance, and may be cited as the "Kali CDP." The <br /> planning area for the Ka`u CDP encompasses most of Judicial District 9 in the County of <br /> -1- <br />
