Re: Police Grant
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating $22,500 for a
Mobile Video Recorders grant. The purchase of four mobile video
recorders will enable the Police Department to videotape the
criminal in the act of driving under the influence of intoxicating
liquor.
Also enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an
Agreement with the United States of America for this grant.
The Police Department has requested that this transmittal be sent
directly to the Council for its approval.
