SUBJECT: Requests the Office of the Mayor, Housing, and Planning Department to provide
an update to address housing solutions for those displaced by the recent lava event.
We respectfully request an update from the Office of the Mayor, Office of Housing, and
Planning Department to address and discuss plans for short-term, mid-term, and long-term
housing solutions. We also request an update on the County's plans for building or re-building
in the areas of lava zones 1 and 2.
We respectfully request that this be placed on the appropriate committee scheduled for July 10,
2018 for an hour.
