Dear Chairwoman Poindexter and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Faith (Faye) Yates of North Kohala to the Leeward
Planning Commission. She retired as an Administrative Assistant with Prudential
Locations, Inc. Ms. Yates previously served on the North Kohala Community
Development Plan Action Committee.
Ms. Yates was raised in North Kohala and returned home to retire there 8 years ago.
She has been active in her community volunteering with the Kohala Sr. Citizen's Club,
RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program) and several other organizations.
Ms. Yates is a member of the Republican party. If confirmed, she will serve a vacant
term to expire December 31, 2022.
