Dear Committee on Planning Hawaii County,
Aloha and Mahalo for reading my letter. I am a Native Hawaiian and own an Airbnb vacation
rental. I am a Special Education teacher and serve my community proudly. I am hoping to get
grandfathered in because My Home is in a residential area and the only way I can keep this
home in our family is having it as an vacation rental. Please allow us to be grandfathered in so
that we can keep our family home.
