This is our primary source of income and we pay our GE and TA taxes quarterly. We host people from around the world and they get to see a unique part of Hawaii, in a native forest at 3,000 feet elevation on the slopes of Mauna Kea. I have two comments about this bill. First, requiring special permits will be very time consuming for your offices. Do you have the resources to handle this? I understand that you are changing the language to allow for more time to obtain the permits, but I would like to know more about what this process would look like to support or oppose it. Secondly, prohibiting ag land from vacation rentals doesn't make much sense, as most ag land is remote where there is less chance of people being disturbed. Can you explain why the bead prohibition of ag land? Mahalo for your time. Regards, Garrett Kababik Honokaa, HI 96727 m .... A Comm. Noe 13q. A04 Ref. To: Ref. Date
