We bought this because we love Kona and someday hope to retire to our little condo. To afford this we vacation rent it to help out with the payment but also allow us to visit the island when we want to. Any drastic changes to our ability to rent it out will force us to sell our dream. I imagine many others will be forced to do the same. Airbnb and the like was the only reason we even came to the island in the first place as they are the only current affordable lodging on the island. And then we fell in love and realized we could live our dream by doing this. Changing things may also have a dramatic negative effect on both the tourism market and the real estate market. Especially if thousands of vacation owners are now forced to sell and tourist have nowhere to stay except expensive hotels. We pay our taxes and make sure our guests know to be respectful denizens. Please allow us to keep living the dream! ftnrn. No. Ref; T®: Ref. Date JUN 19 Mahalo Justin and Tara wlm un Regards,""' Justin Reuter -' Kailua-kona, HI 96740 ""` ftnrn. No. Ref; T®: Ref. Date JUN 19
