Dear Members of the Hawai'i County Council; rn
In Bill 108 Draft 2 Section 25-4-.1 (f) 4, please change to
Four in a renewal year police reports or four in a renewal year verified different
neighbors complaints of noise and other disturbances relating to the short-term
vacation rental operations.
Please change Section 25-4-.1 (f) 4 because the way you have it now allows
unscrupulous competing short-term vacation owners to kill their competitors short-
term rentals by making a false complaint to have the certificate be denied at renewal.
Thank you for your understanding the issues that will occur, we all will insure a
compliant short-term rental but to do that we need a more secure short-term rental.
Me and my wife are tax paying citizens of the County of Hawai'i.
