As an owner of a Condominium unit within Alii Cove Condominiums, I have concerns about the vague and or ambiguous (unscientific) methods used to specify excessive noise as well as duration of exposure. My experience with this type of vague language results in neighbors abusing their neighbors based on personal choice of what is good vs. bad noise. With no measureable standard to enforce the problem becomes a personal opinion or personnel vendetta. Here are my comments and suggested changes to the ordinance. Good neighbor policy.
