No. 972 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 11:00 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 972, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 972, transmitted by Acting Mayor Wilfred M. Okabe, dated June 21, 2018, <br /> nominates Benj amine Heloca of Council District 8 to the Hawai`i County Cultural Resources <br /> Commission. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim, introduced Mr. Heloca who appeared in <br /> person. Mr. Heloca is a lifelong resident and is not a member of any political party. If confirmed, <br /> he will serve a term ending December 31, 2019. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of Mr. Heloca.
