This Bill will provide additional benefits/support for a group of Veterans that gave much to their
Country and in many cases face a lot of hurdles in their every day lives.
This testimony is from Jim Traxler,West Hawaii member of the State Board for Veterans' Services. I
would like to add that I am actively involved with the West Hawaii Veterans Council, American Legion
Post 20, and the Big Island Retired Military Association. I am also Life Member of the Veterans of Foreign
Wars. I assure you all the fellow Veterans I have talked to in these Organizations, support this Bill.
