Re: Operating Budget
As part of a joint effort between government agencies and the local community to ensure the
continuity of essential air service at the Waimea-Kohala Airport, the U.S. Department of
Transportation requires that$1,200 in private contributions from the community be collected and
utilized towards this effort. These funds are to be administered by the Department of Research and
Development.
Enclosed is a bill for an Ordinance to appropriate $1,200 from private contributions. If there are
