Poindexter, Council Chairwoman SUBJECT: A Resolution Directing the Clerk of the County of Hawai`i to Take Necessary Action to Place the Charter Amendment Proposed by Ordinance No. 18-76, • Relating to Fiscal Impact Statements, on the 2018 General Election Ballot. • Please find attached for the Council's consideration a resolution submitted pursuant to section 15-2 of the Hawai`i County Charter. Section 15-2, Hawai`i County Charter, provides in part,that upon adoption of an ordinance proposing amendments or revisions of this charter,the Council shall by resolution provide that the proposed amendments or revisions be submitted to the electors of the County for approval at the next general election.
