No. 1000 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 9:04 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 1000, reports as <br /> follows: <br /> Communication No. 1000, transmitted by Mayor Harry Kim, dated July 19, 2018, nominates <br /> Ms. Springer Kaye to the Hawai`i County Board of Appeals. <br /> Ms. Kaye has been a resident of Hawai`i for 15 years and states that she is affiliated with the <br /> democratic party. If confirmed, she will serve a vacant term ending December'31, 2022. <br /> Ms. Rose Bautista, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim introduced the nominee who appeared in <br /> person. Chair Eoff commented that she would be an asset to this board. The vote was thentaken <br /> with all Council Members voting"aye."
