Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 655-18, reports as follows:
Resolution 655-18, transmitted by Council Member Karen Eoff,via Communication
No. 1019 dated July 25, 2018, awards a Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources
Preservation Maintenance Stewardship Grant to Kohanaiki `Ghana.
This approves a grant of$25,480 to Kohanaiki `Ghana, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to
protect, preserve, and restore `O`oma Beach in North Kona(Tax Map Key: 7-3-009:004),
pursuant to Section 10-16 of the Hawai`i County Charter.
There was no further discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 655-18,
and recommends its adoption.
