It is my pleasure to nominate Dee Fulton of Council District 7 to the Environmental
Management Commission. Dr. Fulton is a retired veterinarian who now dedicates most
of her time to environmental conservation.
Since her arrival in Hawai'i about two years ago, Dr. Fulton has joined other community
leaders who are vigilant in protecting and preserving the natural resources of our island.
One of her most notable efforts has been part of a group who worked tirelessly to make
Hawai'i oxybenzone free to protect our marine life. Prior to making Hawai'i her
permanent home, Dr. Fulton was a frequent visitor to the'islands where she found the
ocean a special and spiritual place to escape.

Dr. Fulton is a member of the Democratic party. If confirmed, she will serve a vacant
term to end December 21., 2022.
