SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution 663-18, Draft 2; A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE
HAWAII STATE ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES TO INCLUDE IN ITS 2019
LEGISLATIVE PACKAGE, A RESOLUTION URGING THE LEGISLATURE
TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS TO EMPLOY LIFEGUARDS AND TO
PURCHASE A LIFEGUARD TOWER AND RESCUE EQUIPMENT FOR
KUA BAY AT KEKAHA KAI STATE PARK
Attached please find Resolution No. 663-18, Draft 2. Resolution No. 663-18, was amended by
the contents of Communication No. 1035.1, as duly approved by the Council during its
September 5, 2018 meeting.
The Council suspended Rule No. 24.1(e) relating to the holdover of amended legislation to allow
for the adoption of this resolution after said amendment.
