Please vote against Bill 159
Any increase in GET hurts the people who you're
helping on the East side of the Island, as well as
lower income families
Suggest furlough County employees. When the State
of California had a deficit in their budget, they
furloughed many State employees
Suggest Increase property taxes on non-residents and
hotels/resorts. There should be No increase in
property tax on residents.
Better manage the Budget you have
Again make efforts to increase the TAT allotment to
the Island
Proposed increase is only only until 2020. However,
we have seen how we've had many Extensions of
"temporary" taxes when we lived in California.
Tax increases start small and grow. Now California
sales tax is almost 10%.
