Let Us Return to the Leilani Community Center 11110 AUG -7 AN 10:
About this petition
We, homeowners in Section II of Leilani Estates, ask the Board of Directors of the Leilani Community
Association to have Civil Defense revise the mandatory zone to allow use of buildings/homes on the
section of Moku, north of Leilani Ave. This would enable residents to return to this area and access to
the use of our Community Center. We hope this could be accomplished by our next special meeting
of the BOD on August 25th.

Talmage said they would take our placards away if we are found away from our residence
indicated on there placard... so not only house arrest but forced eviction (as we cannot

Comments: Move the Kahukai barricade from Pomaikai to Moku (one block). Barricade
Moku at Leilani. That would allow access to the community center from the north side
without access to the rest of the evacuation zone. I understand the reasoning for the
evacuation zone... but occasional use of the community center is really essential for
Leilani to remain a vital subdivision. Right now we have to outsource a meeting room...
that's absurd.
