SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT
HALEKII STREET: Proposed No Parking Zones
The Kona Community Policing Division requests parking be prohibited along both sides of Halekii
Street from Mamalahoa Highway to Mamao Street because parked vehicles restrict sight distance of
motorists entering Halekii Street from driveways. A location map is attached.
The parking restrictions will also benefit the proposed traffic signal system at this intersection.
We ask for your review and consideration for adoption of the subject amendment. Should you have any
