Aloha County Council, I understand that Bill 108 as relating to
vacation rentals is going to be heard on Tuesday,Oct. 16 in Kona.I am
working and unable to attend. However, this bill does affect my family N
if it passes.I would like it to be voted against. ='

Our family owns a vacation home which was purchased for the eventuality r,
that my husband and I would not be able to live in our home in our old m. --C=j
age due to the stairs and steepness of land. Our daughter attempted to O
move back also but was challenged with the current job market here. c-)'
Therefore,we own this house as an emergency location should we need a
home with no stairs.Vacation rental in the interim seemed best since
long term rental would require a 45 day notice. p
—We currently are breaking even financially so any new fees would be a
challenge for us. -
We are very adamant with our renters regarding quiet times and everyone
has been respectful especially since we require that in advance.
I appreciate your consideration on this topic.
