Bill 108 will have a negative impact on the Puna area. Puna needs every
economic engine available for their recovery and limiting vacation
rentals will impact homeowners,vacationers and all the people who
provide services to these houses. And this bill will not increase
rental houses in Puna since most of the vacation rentals would be rented
at a rate not affordable by most East Hawaiians. I'understand the need
to regulate vacation rentals however they need to be fair to Puna. Our
