RESOLUTION NO.
STATE OF HAWAII
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO REIMBURSE THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS
AND RECREATION FOR EXPENSES RELATING TO THE HALLOWEEN FAMILY
FUN NIGHT IN NORTH KOHALA.
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation
Division, conducts, arranges, and provides diversified programs at County recreational facilities
to address the needs and interests of the communities of Hawaii County in a safe environment;

WHEREAS, the Recreation Division plans, conducts, arranges or promotes organized
recreation, athletics, crafts and other leisure time activities for all age groups at recreation centers
and facilities throughout the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Division is requesting reimbursement for prizes supplied to
children who participated in the Halloween Family Fun Night for the North Kohala community
at the Hisaoka gym and Kamehameha Park Complex held on October 31, 2018; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to the Department df'
Parks and Recreation, Recreation.Division, for reimbursement of expenses associated with the
Halloween Family Fun Night in North Kohala.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Council hereby transfers/appropriates
the following amount as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
$500
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
