SUBJECT: Contingency Relief Funds—Council District 7; BIRCDC—KSWCD
Educational Materials
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to the Department of
Research and Development to provide a grant to the Big Island Resource Conservation and
Development Council (BIRCDC)to assist the Kona Soil and Water Conservation District
(KSWCD)with expenses related to educational materials to address land degradation and soil
depletion in the Kona district.
Attached is a resolution authorizing the transfer of$1,000 from the Clerk-Council Services—
Contingency Relief account to the following account and project:
