SUBJECT: Withdrawal of Bill 183 Relating to Decreasing Exposure to Herbicides
This letter is to inform you in writing that I have reluctantly withdrawn Bill 183 from Council
consideration. I had not received a legal opinion assuring me from Corporation Counsel on my
request of August 21, 2018,regarding possible criminal liability for war crimes.
Also to this date, I have not received the legal opinion despite a follow up written request from
my private attorney Stephen Laudig of August 28, 2018,regarding Corporation Counsel's
standard of professional conduct and their responsibilities for legal counsel to Council
members.
