Resolution No. 493
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AMOUNT AND DENOMINATIONS OF BONDS,
WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE NUMBERS AND DATES OF MATURITIES,
TO BE ISSUED FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 11, DISCOVERY
HARBOR SUBDIVISION AND ADJACENT LANDS, WAIOHINU, DISTRICT
OF KA -U, HAWAII
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 480 adopted by this Council
on March 13, 1972, Improvement District Bonds for Improve-
ment District No. 11, Discovery Harbor Subdivision and
Adjacent Lands, Waiohinu, District of Ka'u, Hawaii, in the
amount of $4,600,000 (less the total amount of assessments
paid on or before April 3, 1972, if any) were authorized for
issuance and sale;
WHEREAS, it appears by certificate of the Director of
Finance that assessment No. 830, in the amount of $5,994.73,
was paid on or before April 3, 1972, and that no other
assessments were so paid;
WHEREAS, the total amount of unpaid assessments is
$4,594,005.27;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII:
1. That in conformity with the provisions of said
Resolution No. 480 the total amount of bonds to be issued is
$4,594,005.27 and the denominations of said bonds with their
respective numbers and dates of maturity are as shown on
Exhibit "A" hereto attached and made a part hereof by ref-
erence; and that same are hereby confirmed as being in
conformity with said Resolution No. 480.
