Resolution
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL in and for the County
of Hawaii, at a meeting held this date, that the Honorable
Shunichi Kimura, Mayor of the County of Hawaii, be and he
is hereby designated and authorized to sign in the name
of the County of Hawaii, and his signing on behalf of the
County of Hawaii on March 17, 1972, is hereby ratified,
the application to the Environmental Protection Agency
for a Research, Development and Demonstration Grant for
an Ecostatic Cane Processing System - Pilot Phase, in
Pepeekeo, County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and
he is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution
to the Director, Grants Administration Division, Office
of Research & Monitoring, Environmental Protection Agency,
Washington, D. C. 20460; C. Brewer and Company, Limited
(Environmental Protection Coordinator); Hilo Coast Processing
Company; and Department of Research and Development, County
of Hawaii.
