BE IT RESOLVED BY THF. COUNCIL in and for the Countv
of Hawaii, at a meeting held this date, that the Honcrahle
Shunichi Kimura, Mayor of the County of TTawaii, he and he
is hereby designated and authorized to sign in the name
of the Countv of Hawaii the annlication for assistance in
planning and carrvinq out the work for Federal assistance
under the Watershed Protection and flood Prevention Pct
(PL 566, as amended) for the Ilonok.aa Platershed Project,
in Hamakua, County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii.
13E IT PUPTHER RESOLVED that the Countv Clerk he and he
is hereby directed to forward a cony of this resolution
to "fauna Kea Soil and Water Conservation District, U.S.
Soil Conservation Service, State Department of Land and
Natural Resources; and Department of nuhlic Forks and
Plannina Department, County of Hawaii.
