Resolution
WHEREAS, supplemental funds from the State has been made
available for construction of the baseyard-warehouse for the
Department of Water Supply;
WHEREAS, favorable bids have been received for such con-
struction which would not require the use of the entire amount
of the $200,000 loan extended by the County;
WHEREAS, the loan was for the express purpose of financing
the construction of the Department's new warehouse building at
the Leilani Street location; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water Supply needs to purchase
equipment and furnishings for the operation of the facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that Resolution No. 201 be amended to permit
use of the loan funds for purchase of equipment and furnishings
for the operation of the baseyard-warehouse of the Department
of Water Supply;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a true copy of this Resolution
be sent to the Director of Finance of the County of Hawaii and
to the Manager -Engineer of the Department of Water Supply.
