Resolution No. 47 4
WHEREAS, pursuant to County Charter Section 3-14 interim amendments
to the Salary Ordinance may be by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the Salary Ordinance is hereby amended for the following department:
SECTION 9.09 (b). RECREATION DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION
1. By adding one position of Recreation Instructor SR -9
2. By deleting one position of Recreation Helper SR -6
SECTION 9.09 (c). MAINTENANCE DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND
RECREATION
1. By amending number of positions of Equipment Operator II
WB -9 from 3 to 4.
2. By amending number of positions of Equipment Operator I
WB -6 from 5 to 6
3. By amending number of positions of Tractor Mower Operator
WB -4 from 4 to 5
4. By amending number of positions of Power Mower Operator
WB -3 from 10 to 8
5. By amending number of positions of Park Caretaker I WB -2
from 35 to 34
The above changes are based on reallocations of positions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy each of this Resolution be
transmitted to the departments of Finance, Parks and Recreation,
County Council, Personnel Services and Corporation Counsel for their
information.
