WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is greatly aggrieved to learn of
the untimely passing of a loyal public servant, THOMAS TOYOSO KAYATANI,
an employee of the Department of Public Works, County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, MR. KAYATANI, through his loyal service to this County
since 1934 and his commitment and dedication to public service, has
contributed greatly to the welfare of the County of Hawaii and the
State of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, MR. KAYATANI served the County and its residents
meritoriously as a cost account clerk; and
WHEREAS, the people of the County of Hawaii are desirous of
expressing appreciation as well as solemn regrets,
NOK, THEREFORE, B3 IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL, COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that its most sincere sympathies and condolences be
conveyed to Mrs. Frances Kayatani, his wife, and to other members
of his family; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby
instructed to transmit copies of this Resolution to his wife,
Mrs. Frances Kayatani, and to other surviving members of his family.
