PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND RIGHTS FOR THE KAILUA-KONA
PARKING FACILITIES, KAILUA, NORTH KONA, HAWAII.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
That it is necessary, for the public use and purpose,
to wit: providing for the construction of Kailua-Kona Parking
Facilities in Kailas, North Kona, County and State of Hawaii, to
take, acquire and condemn the lands hereinafter described and to
that end and for that purpose the Corporation Counsel of the County
of Hawaii be and he is hereby authorized and empowered to initiate
proceedings in eminent domain, as provided by law, for the taking,
acquisition and condemnation of the lands described as follows:
Lot A Being a portion of Grant 1861,
Area: 6023 Sq. Ft. Apana 2 to Kahiamoe, Lanihau
TMK: 7-5-06:28 2nd. Situated on the south
side of Kuakini Highway and on
the north side of Likana Road.
Lot B
Area: 0.134 Acre
INK: 7-5-06:5
Lot 1-A
Area: 11977 Sq. Ft
TMK: 7-5-06:8
Being a portion of L.C. Award
3541 to Kanewalawala, Lanihau
2nd. Situated on the south
side of Kuakini Highway.
Being a portion of Land Court

north side of Likana Road.

That, in the process of said proceedings in eminent
domain, said Corporation Counsel be and he is hereby authorized
and empowered to negotiate terms of settlement, subject to the
approval of this Council and of the court before which such
proceedings are prosecuted.
