WHEREAS.. the County of Hawaii annually recognizes one of
its female residents for her exceptional contribution to the
community by naming said resident the female Outstanding Senior
Citizen of the County of Hawaii; and
WME2ZAS, the 1972 feraa.le recipient (,f the outstanding Senior
Citizen Award is MRS. MARY A. BOTELHO of Ahualoa, County and State
cf flawa4.i; and
WHEREAS,, MS. MARY A. BOTELHO has, for numerous years, been
actively and unselfishly engaged in the promotion, growth and
development of Senior Citizen Activities on the Island of Hawaii
and throughout the State of Hawn .ij- and
WHEMAS, MRS. MARY A. BOTELHO's devoted and active participation
in community affairs demonstrated admirable public spirit and good
will toward others; and

contributed immeasurably toward the betterment of her community
