7 in th= year Nineteen Hundred and Seventy -Two,
after forty years of dedicated service as a teacher in Hawaii's
public education system,, GEORGE R. SAITO,. responsible private
citIzen cf` the County and :;tate of Hawaii, did announce his
retirement fraT_i the profession which he has nobly and unselfishly
served and did thereby bring to an end his highly productive
career as an educator par excellence; and
WHERLA6. said GZ0V.GZ R. �AITO has, through his dedication to
hip: work, earned the lasting admiration, respect and friendship of
the numerous Big Islanders who have had the opportunity and good
fortune to know and associate with him; and
WHEREAS, the citizenry of the State of Hawaii, and especially
thobe of the Ccunty cif Hawaii are grateful for the many years of
teaching service rendered them by GEORGE R. SA'ITO in the past and
are justifiab.1y proud of his numerous and worthwhile accomplishments
in the field of education, comunity service and sports activities;
sOW, Tr-1E;FFG RE,, BE IT RESOLVLD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
aAWAII that it extends to GF RGE R. SAITO on his day of recognition
and honor., its heartfelt "Mahalo" for his dedicated service to the
people of the County and the State of Hawaii; and
BE IT nRTEER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby
directed to forward a true copy of this resolution to GEORGE R. SAITO
as evidence of the gratitutde of the people of Hawaii County, who in

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it extends to GEORGE R. SAITO on his day of recognition

people of the County and the State of Hawaii; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and is hereby
