SUBJECT: Presentation in the Public Safety & Mass Transit Committee
By means of this communication I am requesting 45 minutes in the Public Safety & Mass Transit
Committee meeting on November 19, 2018 for a presentation by members of several community
organizations, including Laulima Pahoa, Mainstreet Pahoa, and Puna Pono Alliance. These
community organizations will be representing the population in the area recently affected by lava
flows to present information relating to emergency response and preparedness planning.
