RE: Testimony is favor of Resolution 662-18, Grants of Public Access Easements
Halawa,Papa'a, and Napapa'a„ North.Kohala
Aloha Members of the Finance Committee,
Our group made up of North.Kohala residents strongly supports adoption of Resolution
662-13, We have been working for coastal preservation and community access to the shore since
1988. This public access trail was created as a condition of the subdivision of land in the year
2000. Adoption of this trail by the County was named Priority One in the Public Access Chapter
of the North Kohala Community Development Plan, Hawai'i County Ordinance 08-151.
It has taken 18 years to get to this place. Please vote in favor of this Resolution.
