HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 535 Draft 01 1969-1972RESOLUTION NO. 1vTZREAS,, ITARO HAKA© of Ninole,, County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii, celebrated his 100th birthday on June 10, 1972, having been born in Hiroshima, Japan, on June 10, 1672; and WHEREAS, ITA1110 NAKAO—proud father of five children, arandfather to ton children, and great-grandfather to ten children --came to Hawaii on January 1, 1895, and has lived in the County of Hawaii as a dedicated, well-respected, and law-abiding resident, contributing much to his friends and community; and WHEREAS,, it is most fitting and proper that the citizenry of the County of Hawaii extend their sincere ALOHA to a centenarian who has lived through and witnessed the political, social and economic development of Hawaii,, NOW, THEREFOREs BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that ITARO NAKAO be and he is hereby extended the warm ALOHA of the citizenry of the County of Hawaii with their sincere wishes for a HAPPY BIRTHDAY with many happy returns. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be directed to forward a true copy of this resolution to the said ITARO NAKAO.
