RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF $20,989.20 PAR VALUE 6%
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT BONDS FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 95
CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLINE FOR CAPTAIN COOK HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,
UNIT 1, SOUTH KONA, HAWAII.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 537, adopted by the Council
of the County of Hawaii, the Director of Finance of the County
of Hawaii was authorized and directed to prepare for sale and
to sell $20,989.20 par value 6% Improvement District Bonds for
Improvement District No. 9, Construction of Waterline for
Captain Cook Heights Subdivision, Unit 1, S. Kona, Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, by notice of sale publicly advertised by the
Director of Finance, bids were called for the above sale to
be opened in the office of the Treasury Division, Department
of Finance, County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, of all the bids submitted to and accepted by the
Director of Finance and publicly opened at 10:00 a.m., August
17, 1972, the highest bid was submitted by the American Security
Bank for the entire issue of $20,989.20 at $100.26 per $100.00
par value or $21,043.77 for the entire issue;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII:
That the Director of Finance of the County of Hawaii be
and he is hereby authorized to accept the highest bid of
$21,043,77 for the entire issue of $20,989.20 par value bonds
of Improvement District No. 9, Construction of Waterline for
Captain Cook Heights Subdivision, Unit 1, S. Kona, Hawaii, as
submitted by the American Security Bank, and to deliver to the
said bidder $20,989.20 par value bonds of said Improvement
District upon payment of the amount of said bid price plus
accrued interest to the date of payment.
