Beach Road in order to bypass Honolulu Landing. Coastal Puna Parkway is entirely within the civil defense tsunami zone. It would be a waste of funds to build a new road just one block mauka of Papio Street, the existing road. There are many other projects needed in the Puna district such as reopening access to areas affected by the recent lava eruption. It is ill- considered to change the arrangement of roads before there is a long-range master plan in place to address these other issues and the issue of a coastal connection between HPP and Four Corners. It is unconscionable to give neighbors a 48 hour window, including a weekend day, Sunday, to respond to this Resolution. At the very least we request a delay in decision so that the neighbors who are affected by this possible intrusion may have time to respond. Residents who live Coastal Puna Parkway are unaware that our Board of Directors would like to dedicate the road to the County, if indeed this is true. The members of Hawaiian Shores Community Association, the HOA representing members of Hawaiian Shores and Recreational Estates did not vote on this and were not given an opportunity to voice opinion. Respectfully, L.L. Comm. No. 101"lip Ref. To: P ?PG Ref. Dote OCT 31 2U18
