I do not agree that Coastal Puna Parkway should be connected to Govt. Beach Road
in order to bypass Honolulu Landing. It would be a waste of County funds to build a
new road just one block from Papio Street, the current access road. Coastal Puna
Parkway is also entirely within the tsunami evacuation zone. Considering the recent
successful effort to pave the entirety of Government Beach Road, there is now
existing easy access to the properties along that road.
It is shortsighted to change the of roads before there is a long-range master plan in
place to provide a coastal connection between Hawaiian Paradise Park and Four
Corners.
It is reprehensible togive neighbors a two day window to respond to this Resolution,

one of those days being a Sunday. At the very least we ask for a delay in decision so
that neighbors who are potentially impacted may have adequate time to respond.
