We lost most, but not all of our property in Kapoho Vacationland Farmlots. Our property is at the end of Ililani Rd.towards Lighthouse Rd . We have about an acre left of useable land and we want to go back to our property and rebuild our lives there. We did have some insurance but not enough to start over from scratch somewhere else. It makes most sense financially for us to go back. We have fruit trees and a greenhouse still there, plus additional garden areas. We want to put a tiny home on wheels so we could move it if need be in the future. For us to go back we need 4 Corners reopened and then we would work on gaining access off of Lighthouse Rd. We are in support of councilwoman Eileen O'Hara's recommendation that lower 132 be reopened and Railroad Rd. to access Pahoa. Going on Government Beach Rd. doesn't make sense as a main route, it's not designed for that. Plus the cinder trucks need a better way to get to 130. There are at least 5 properties in Kapoho Vacationland Farmlots that have useable land remaining, we all want to go home. This is very doable and we need you to help us get there. We need to know that you are in support of getting us back home. We are currently living in N. Kohala and really miss Kapoho. Thank you, Stan and Debra Smith 808.785.8075 dj.smith@yahoo.con Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android Comm. No 10#1-2(9 Ref. To: P1 PWPRG Ref. Dote OCT 3 1 2018
