SUBJECT: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE 7, OF THE
HAWAI`I COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION, AS AMENDED),
RELATING TO THE VETERANS ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
Please find attached a bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 15, Article 7, of the Hawai`i
County Code relating to the powers and duties of the Veterans Advisory Committee.
The Veterans Advisory Committee would like to begin the new year with new powers and duties
in place,therefore, I am requesting that this bill be waived from Committee and placed on the
November 20, 2018, Council agenda in Kona.
