WHEREAS, Councilman Mcuo Hisaoka has served the Council
of the County of Hawaii as its Chairman for the past two
years; and
WHEREAS, as Chairman, he guided the Council through its
stormy infant years with the gl.,sce of a true leader and
gentleman; and
INIIEREAS, the accomplisl=ents of the Council ujader his
experienced leadership were due in large measure to his, patient,
competent and industrious efforts; and
WHAMEAS, his ability for bringing the Council toget',i-i er
on many issues has won h3* -M the respect of his colleagues

both Del=crats and Republicans all ke; and
WHEREAS, as Chairman of the Finance Committee during the
ensuing two years, he can be expected to continue servinpz the
Council in a major capacIty,
