RESOLUTION NO
WHEREAS, the people of this County hold in high esteem
achievements and accomplishments denoting excellence 'in
education; and
WHEREAS, one of the lndi*ci*a of excellence in education
is the ability to fluently speak, express and convey one's
thoughts correctly and understandably; and
VIHEREAS, this Council, on behalf of all the people of this
County, expresses Its extreme pleasure and pride in the accomplishment
of MARK R. VAN WAGONER of Hilo, a Hilo College student, :fin �,,Anning
the Boy Scouts of Pmierlcta national public spealki.-ig contest;
NO11. THEREFORE, lE IT RESOLVED that the. Council of the County
of Hawaii congratulates lli.%RK R. VMJ 1AGONER for a job well done in

and
BE Si FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and he is
