WHEREAS, HENRY EPSTEIN pioneered the organization of
government workers into collective bargaining units on
the Big Irland; and
WHEREAS, HENRY EP STEIN dedicated his services and
endured great resistance to the social change which faced
organized labor and continued to organize workers for the
benefit of all government employees; and
WHEREAS, HENRY EP STEIN has contributed '24 years of
dedicated service to the organization of Public workers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE " IT RESOLVED BY THE COTJ�.,TTY COTMIL
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it goes on record -as recognizing
HENRY EPSTEINIS outstanding contribution to the betterment of
government employees C-nd all the people of the County of
Hawaii,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to forward a true copy of this resolution
to HENRY EPSTEIN ,
