Resolution No. 349
WHEREAS, Section 5-3.3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii
requires that the Council designate the banks in which county funds can be
deposited;
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 389 the County Council authorized the
appointment of the Crocker -Citizens National Bank of San Francisco as an
additional paying agent for interest and principal on the 10,000,000
General Obligation Bonds, Series 1970; and
WHEREAS, Act 51, Session Laws of Hawaii 1970, authorizes the
deposit of public funds in savings and loan associations insured by the
federal savings and loan insurance corporation authorized to do business
in this State;
HAWA I I:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
1. That Resolution No. 63 dated April 2, 1969, as amended by
Resolution No. 180, dated December 17, 1969, be further amended by adding
the following to the list of depositories designated for deposit of
county funds:
Crocker -Citizens National Bank
American Savings and Loan Association
Honolulu Savings and Loan Co., Ltd.
International Savings and Loan Association, Ltd.
Pioneer Savings and Loan Association
State Savings and Loan Association
2. That the County Clerk be and he is hereby directed to
transmit copies of this Resolution to the above-mentioned firms and to the
Director of Finance of the County of Hawaii; and
1971.
3. That this Resolution be effective immediately.
