WHEREAS. the County of Hawaii annually recognizes one
of its male residents for his exceptioncal, contribution to
the community by naming said resident the male Outstanding
Senior Citizen of the County of Hawaii; and

Senior Citizen Award is MR. KOBAY.A-SIHI c -LF Papaikou,
County and State of Hawn, ii F rid
W IiER 1EAS, MR. ISAMI KOBAYASHI has, for numerous years,
been active%ly and unselfishly engaged in thr- promotion, growth
and dPvP1oPmPnt of Senior. Citizen Activit -es on the -Island of
P71waii and throughout the%S-tate of Havaiii: and
1'w'HZREAS, MR. ISAMI KOBAYASHI' _s. devoted and active
partilcipat.ion in community affairs demcnstratrd admirable
public spirit and good-vjjill toward others; and
WHEREAS, his practice and principles of good citizenship
contributed immeasurably toward the betterment of his community
and the people of the Island of Hawaii,
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THS: CM.TTY
OF HAWAII that it extends its sincerest "Congratulations and
lila-ho-loll to MR. ISAMI KOBAYASHI for his contribution to the
growth and proper development of our Big Island community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of
Haw" -ii b(-.� end is hereby directed to transmit a true copy of this
resolution to MR. ISAMI KOBAYASHI and his wife, Namie, and to
their sons, Roy, Arthur and David, C -s evidence of the County
Council's deep appreciation and respect for his unceasing devotion
