Resolution No. 378
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE CAPT. COOK WATER LINE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WITHIN THE CAPT. COOK HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION IN THE DISTRICT OF SOUTH
KONA, COUNTY AND STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, by Petition dated January 19, 1971, (Petition No. 18),
and filed with the County Clerk on January 22, 1971, the residents of
the Capt. Cook Heights Subdivision, Capt. Cook, South Kona, Hawaii,
petitioned the Council for the water line improvement district, all
pursuant to Ordinance No. 350, County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water Supply will prepare the plans
and specifications for the water system and the installation cost will
be borne by the petitioners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COULCIL in and for
the County of Hawaii:
I.
That the Chief Engineer of the Department of Public Works be and
he is hereby ordered and directed to investigate and report to this
Council preliminary data concerning the necessity, feasibility, and
method desirable to widen and provide water system within the Capt.
Cook Heights Subdivision, District of South Kona, County of Hawaii; and
to include in his report all such data, survey, maps, plans, drawings,
details, specifications, boundaries of the improvement, cost of the
improvement, and recommendations as specified and called for in Ordinance
No. 350, County of Hawaii.
II.
That the County Clerk be directed forthwith to furnish said
engineer and the Manager, Department of Water Supply, with a copy of
this resolution.
