Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Charter requires that any
contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds
from appropriations of a later fiscal year be approved by
resolution;
WHEREAS, fire insurance on county buildings and employees
blanket bond policies are purchased for a term of three years
with annual premium payments; and
WHEREAS, the summer fun program is commenced in one fiscal
year and payment for services of contractual employees and bus
operators are made from funds appropriated in the following
fiscal year;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that payment from later fiscal
years be approved for fire insurance policies, employees blanket
bond policies, and summer fun program employment and bus
contracts.
