Resolution
NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its special meeting of
August 12,E 1971, approved the following names for certain unnamed
roadways in the County of Hawaii, State of Hawaii:
Naalehu Subdivision, Naalehu, Kau, Hawaii
Niu Street - meaning coconut
Maia Street -- meaning kinds of bananas
Poha Street - meaning a kind of yellow fruit
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that the said roadways located in the County of Hawaii,
State of Hawaii, be named as follows:
1971.
Naalehu Subdivision, Naalehu, Kau, Hawaii (delineated on map
attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof)
Niu Street - meaning coconut
Maia Street - meaning kinds of bananas
Poha Street - meaning a kind of yellow fruit
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 8th day of September ,
